I want both of us to be satisfied with every transaction.  I will accomodate reasonable concerns.  I don't know of any problems or mistakes thus far, but it is easy enough to make a mistake even though I am quite conscientious.

Returns.  If I have erred in the identification or description of the stamp(s), or the scan does not match the item(s) received, and you wish to return the item(s), then I will offer a full refund including shipping cost.  If it is a used or unused ( but not mint ) item and you are simply not happy with it, and you wish to return it, then I will likely offer to refund the purchase price but not the shipping cost.  If it is a mint item, and correctly identified, and correctly described, then I will not generally offer a refund.  If I have inadvertently sent the wrong item, and you wish to return it, then please contact me right away and I'll either refund your payment or provide the correct item.

Stamp Conditions.  I categorize stamps according to condition.  In every case I do my best to honestly describe the stamp according to these categories and sub-categories.  If it looks to me like it has never been hinged, then I will call it NH. If it looks to me like it was ever hinged I will call it HR.  Centering is shown in the scan.  What you see in the scan is what you would be buying.  On older stamps, sometimes the reverse is not very pretty.  A mint stamp is presumed to have full original gum ( unless issued without gum ).  I will note any flaws that are apparent to me, but I am not an expert on stamp condition.  Thus I will be more gracious with regard to returns of older and used stamps.

Insurance and Registration.  I only require insurance on the more expensive items, but urge you to opt for insurance ( on domestic shipments $4 for shipping and insurance ) or registration ( on international shipments $13.20 for shipping and registration ) on any shipment valued at of $40 or more.  If you don't buy the insurance or registration, then I may not be willing to cover losses in the mail.  I am not a business; I'm just selling my extras so I can buy more stamps, but I'm not here to lose money either.

Feedback. When you receive your shipment, if you are happy with it then please provide positive feedback and I will do likewise.  If you are not happy, then please contact me ( first ) and express your concerns and hopefully we can reach a resolution that is fair to both of us.

Browsing Period.  I offer a seven day browsing period and expect payment to be made within seven days of the first purchase ( ten days if you are not in the USA or Canada ).  I only accept electronic payments.  If you need more time, then please contact me within the browsing period and ask for an extension.

Cancellation for Non-Payment.  Honesty and integrity are important to me.  Most people here at StampWants are honest and reasonable, and honor their commitments.  But there are some, hopefully few, who do not honor their commitments.  If a buyer has neutral or negative feedback for non-payment, then I urge that buyer to pay quickly.  Otherwise, for any buyer with neutral or negative feedback for non-payment, I reserve the right to cancel any sale that has not been paid for within 48 hours, and relist the item.  Buyers with all-positive feedback are afforded a seven-day browsing period for combined shipping.  Please pay by the end of that seven-day period.  Otherwise the sale(s) will be cancelled and items relisted.  Any buyer whose purchase is cancelled for non-payment is subject to negative feedback and will be blocked from buying again. If payment is received after the sale is cancelled, then it will be refunded.

Delay or Cancellation Upon Request.  It you wish to cancel a purchase before payment or need more time for browsing, and you are within the browsing period, then please contact me and ask for an exception, explaining why, and I'll probably agree and we can both be happy.  If I don't receive any response to my invoice within the browsing period, then, I will likely cancel the sale and re-list the stamps.
