6 hours to go in this month . . and we're 440 sales away from breaking the record!

It's going to be a nailbiter!

The record was in January at 74,490. We just missed it this month at 74,367. 124 short....

Here's hoping we get it in April. Thanks to everyone for another solid month over 70,000.

I'll only take part of the blame. If I have to stack up another 25 pennies for each lot because of the seller's 25c additional item charge...

Yeah. Pretty stiff charge when you want to buy a cheap stamp that Scott only values at 20c because of the cost of "handling."

April is proving to be robust -- over
2600 sales per day on average -- and that would put us over 78,000 sales for the month  a new record, I believe.

I'm going to list, for the first time ever, some single stamps today (on behalf of my father-in-law) and the strong sales so far this month are encouraging.

Lets see what the Easter Bunny brings us.

Not sure what you're referring to as weird? Dave posted a screenshot of our items sold stats early on Saturday morning, April 30. Saturdays are generally our busiest days, and over 3,000 items were sold on April 30, bringing the final total for the month to 70,800 from Dave's post in the morning.

April had started out very strong, and finished strongly, but not ahead of March. We usually see a slight slow down around tax day actually, and lower priced sales generally take a hit when gas prices rise sharply. However, we believe May has a good chance to trend where March left off, and lead to a new record sales month.

Wow - that's amazing. I can't seem to get more than one customer. He's a repeat customer, but it would be nice to have more than one. Congratulations.
