I heard that there is some reproduction for this set.
can you tell if this set is genuine?

If genuine, the 2013 Scott catalog value is $900.00 for unused, and $3,000.00 for MNH.

Counterfeits exits of Scott #C38-45. I do not have information regarding how to tell genuine from counterfeit.

Looks like crossed lines on stamp. If so ,they are fake.

Use a magnifier and look at the sky. Also if a mark on back or fuzzines in printing and above all-if they look too new and if gum is nice and smooth.

I have one that is counterfeit. On the back it is clearly marked something like "Reproduction" in Black print.
