I did not mean to imply that it's not important, just less important than other things we are currently working on (which have timed deadlines) because it would take quite a while to remedy - it's not something that can be easily fixed. We do however have every intention of fixing this. Also, If there is a topic with 10 pages of posts, you'll still be taken to the correct page. However, this problem can be entirely avoided in the mean time by not opening forum posts in new tabs - but this is obviously a temporary fix.

Since there is a temporary fix to this issue, it's not being placed higher than other things currently on our to do list (again which have timed deadlines). Since the forum pages now load faster you should simply be able to open forum posts in the same window/tab you are working in. If there is a reason you can not do this in the mean time, or if it is taking your more time to do - please explain. This is a genuine question, because I may be missing something which would make this more important at this time.

At the top of the page where the StampWants banner is, there used to be a search box. That was handy when someone posted an item number in a Forum post to quickly enter that number in that box and take a quick look. Could you please add that back to the banner?

Not everything is working. Still having problems with not going to the unread post sometimes.

Also, I go this once! I didn't even try to click it.

I believe the pages are fixed. If you're going to a page of a topic you've already visited it might not work correctly - but that's because of the way pages are cached in the forums. So within a couple of days everything should appear correctly for all topics in the forums.

It's not likely the search bar will be added to the header in the forms due to how much room it takes up. However, if you want to go to an item just copy the item id number as usual then just click on home and the search bar should then appear very quickly and you can then paste as usual. While you may say "this is an extra click" - it's probably actually faster than before. Since before you would need to scroll to the top of the page to see the header, which would take longer than clicking on "Home" since you can always see it now.

This is the ideal situation to use another tab! I open a new tab and load the SW home page (which is my Home page on FF anyway), then look at the item there. That way, my forum browsing can pick up from where I left off.

So does that mean SW is going to continue to say "hi" to me for a few more days? Because it just did it again.

What were you trying to do when that message popped up? I've never seen it before.

All I did was open up a thread. I believe it was with a new tab both times, but I forgot.

It will most likely automatically go away shortly. It probably will not take very long to be automatically corrected.
