any tips for viewing notifications?

I just came back from a week away and I saw there was a new notification for me down in the bottom right-hand corner. But when I click on it, the box that jumps up is empty. I've tried it with two different computers using Internet Exlporer and Firefox but it is always empty. Is there somewhere else I can see notifications?

I believe if you look in the top left area of your screen you'll see in parentheses how many new messages you have (if that was what your notification was about).

You can click on that to see all your Private Messages.

I think those are messages sent by other members. Notifications are different, sent by the site I guess, and the only place I know to view them is bottom right. (still empty, lol)

Are you sure you have a new notification? There will be a red number next to the word "Notifications" when there are new ones
If not, it will open up to a blank window.

Sometimes when I click on it, the pop up is completely blank and takes a few seconds to populate.

The Notifications refer to:

- items that you have sold
- items that you have bought
- auction items of yours that did not sell
- items you've been outbid on

You can also view the notifications on these pages:

- Items I've Won
- Items I've Sold
- Unsold Items
- Items I'm Bidding On

Yes, there was a red number 1 there until I clicked on it the first time and it came up empty.

No worries, I'm not too stressed out about it. Just wondering if there was another way to see them, like there are for messages.

Have you seen them before (and just not this time), or was this your first opportunity? I am wondering if it could be something like a blocker on your browser, or Java not being up to date?

I've seen them before. I'll just have to wait for a new one to show up and see what's there.
