I find the collection of stamps in the German States and the history of the area to be most interesting.

The period I collect includes the formation of the confederation and Empire.

Having spent most of my life on or underwater, I still am active in water activities.

I am an ex-submariner (USN) and offshore supply boat DPS engineer.

Currently I am a member of the Volunteer Marine Rescue and an avid fisherman.

I enjoy painting, (with acrylics as I am too impatient and too lazy to clean up after using oils). As would be expected, most of my paintings are Lighthouses and seascapes. I'll endeavour to post some photos here.
