I've been collecting on-and-off for over 40 years, and have been a dealer, on-and-off, for over a decade. Originally from Chicago, I moved to Tennessee in the mid-90's and love it. I am married and am helping raise 2 grandchildren (one of which we've adopted-now my daughter) with my wife. I am a graphic designer by trade, so am naturally drawn to stamp collecting for the artistic craftsmanship that went into producing the early engraved and typographed issues. I sell stamps to help supplement my family's income (especially since being laid off after 20 years) and provide a better life for my grandchildren while offering other collectors great service as well as great prices on all things philatelic. My dream is to actually make a living as a philatelic dealer. BTW - If you're not from the South (USA) you may wonder how I came up with papawdon. Papaw is a southern term for grandfather and Don is my first name.
