After 9 months of waiting, I received my Washington, DC Inauguration Day cancellation yesterday.
It came through KC I would say, since it was wrapped in the cellophane. Maybe some of you are finally getting yours also. This is about as long as I have to wait for a planned cancel. I have waited as long as five years to see covers returned from oceanographic or navy vessels, and that is not unusual.

Yesterday, it was one from Dutch Harbor, today it's from St. Paul Island.
A very very nice postmark, and interesting in that there is no zip code.
I received back the items I sent for a pictorial cancellation from Urich, MO 64788, with the following message:
Dear Postal Customer: Thank you for your response to the announcement in the USPS Postal Bulletin, unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control we are unable to provide you with a Pictorial Cancelllation of the 115th Urich Reunion. No actual stamp was ever created. We apologize for the inconvenience and administrative error.

At least they sent it back, unopened, so I can use it for another postmark. I appreciate that. My original envelope was not even opened, I guess they picked up from the address that it was intended for the pictorial-- which was not to be.
I had posted a question on the general Philatelic forum to see if anyone knew anything about Black Rock, Nevada's MPP, which is used only during the Burning Man Festival.
A member gave me a good link which led to a Google group http://www.groups.google.com/group/brcpostoffice
The event is planned for next month, and they are finishing out plans for the cancellation.
Not sure if you all caught this one. The Columbia (Missouri) Philatelic Society came up with this pictorial earlier in July, and I love it! It was indeed a once-in-a-lifetime event!

A couple of interesting postmarks today.

I like the blue ink on the Biden inauguration postmark, which makes it stand out from the others, all of which I have in black.
The postmark from Ben Franklin station in Philadelphia has an interesting first "zero", in the year slug, which appears to be in a different font than the rest of the device. Not sure what happened here, but it makes it more interesting. Any ideas?

What is happening with my cover collection? Creating order out of chaos might be a way to put it. I am getting a handle on things, and thought I would record some of t
