Aside from Matchbox and Hot Wheels, Tomica is my top favorite diecast brand. Up to the early '80s, Tomica are readily available here in the States. Due to their higher prices they disappeared from the US market. The early Tomica were all made in Japan and for a brief period, they were made in Hong Kong. After Hong Kong, they started their plant in China and lately in Vietnam.
