How does one become a Special user ?
You must fill out an application, meet the minimum requirements, provide information about yourself or your company, and pay a fee. We will review you application accordingly & decide on whether or not you qualify for the Special user status.

How much does it cost for Freelancers ?
There is a one-time research fee of $20, plus $25 a month to keep your Special user status. The research fee and the first month are due after we accept your application, which will be deducted from your Bid Start account, so you must keep enough funds in your account to maintain your certified status.

How does a Special user Freelancer benefit from this?
You will be chosen for many more projects than other Freelancers, no matter what bid you place. Many Clients seek professionalism more than anything else. And there is no better way to prove your professionalism to everyone than to be recognized as a Special user at Bid Start.

Special users will get special attention, we will post your usernames for all Clients to see, your bids will appear in bold letters to make them stand out more, and other promotional advertising will be done which will bring attention to your services. There is no limit to how much you can save!

How much does it cost for Clients ?
There is no signup fee, you only pay $25 a month.

How does a Special user Client benefit from this?
Projects by Special user Clients attract lower bids and generally enhanced quality bids from Freelancers, because it displays your commitment to professional transactions and serves as proof that you pay Freelancers for successful projects.

The Special user status basically tells people you are a long-term member of Bid Start and you can be trusted. You will also be able to post projects for 100% off (normally $5), and Featured Projects will be 50% off (normally $20).

For Certified /Special Users: Posting fees for Regular projects are 100% Free and Zero commission fees and no Closing fees. When posting a Featured Project Certified members can post as many Featured Projects as they want and it is Always 50% off Regular members fees!
