:::NAME:::, 1) View All Items, Auctions, Buy It Now or Store Items Only 1) View All Items, Auctions, Buy It Now or Store Items Only As you can tell from the length of topics in this newsletter, it’s been a very busy week over here on StampWants. We’ve created many new features and improved upon others. The first and one of the most important new features we have is the ability to easily select All Listings, Auctions, Buy It Now or Store Items only when you are searching or browsing. To use this new feature, just click on the appropriate tab that will appear at the top of the items list.
2) View XX Items Per Page Previously, every page on StampWants would display up to 35 items per page. We’ve now changed this to a default of 50 items per page. You can also now change this to 10,20,35,50,100 or 200, by changing the Display XX Items Per Page option at the bottom of the items list.
3) Search in Specific Sub-Categories You could always search within a specific sub-category by clicking on the Advanced Search link at the top of the header. You can now do the same from the main search in the StampWants header. We’ve made this change to make searching even more convenient.
4) Wildcard Searching Now Available Another improvement in searching is the new ability to search with wildcards. You can do this by searching for a term such as cent* , which will return all results for items including cent* , such as cent, cents, centennial, century and so forth. We hope everyone finds this new feature helpful, and helps you find the items you want even faster!
5) Site Speed Improved We’ve made significant improvements to the speed of the site. Categories now load faster than ever before (even though many of them have over 10,000 items now!) We’ve also made speed improvements to other areas of the site as well, many of which you have probably already noticed.
6) Sellers: Sales Charts An exciting new feature is available to sellers. If you login to StampWants and click on the Items I’m Selling page, at the top in the “Go to:” section there is a new link labeled “Sales Chart”. Clicking on this link will let you produce sales charts of your totals sales broken down into any time period and interval you would like.
7) New Store Sub-Categories Previously when browsing a store, you could only browse by main category. Now you can browse by sub-category as well, including item counts. This is just one of the new features we’re adding to stores. Look out for even more great features soon!
8) New Back of Book Categories We’ve broken down the Back of Book category on StampWants further to make searching and browsing easier for everyone. Any items which were previously the Back of Book Other category have been automatically moved to the correct new category. Here is a complete list of how the Back of Book category now looks:
