1) Ground Breaking News to Come Next Week

Over the last few months, we've seen a large increase in the amount of activity, users and listings here on StampWants. This has been due to our new advertising campaign, new features and site design, and current No Selling Fees promotion. There are currently 4,207 users and 127,747 active listings. By next week, these numbers will dramatically increase. We will be making an announcement next week, as well as releasing a press release that we are hoping will gain national attention. While we are unsure of how large an increase in activity we will see, it is certain to be explosive.

For Sellers, this means now would be a perfect time to put up new listings or at least get ready to. You may also want to take advantage of our new Move Your Item to Auction feature, which is explained below. For Buyers, this means that there will be even more great listings for you to browse, bid on and purchase.

2) Move Store Items to Auction / New Active Items Options

There is a new feature available to Sellers which allows store items to easily be moved to auction or fixed price. From the Items I'm Selling page, the last column (Options) now displays a drop down menu for each listing. Just click on "View Options" to see all your available options for that listing, such as List a Similar Item, Edit Listing, End Listing Early, and for Store Listings Send to Auction and Send to Fixed Price. If you select Send to Auction or Fixed Price, you'll be given a couple of options, such as price and listing upgrades that you can change, and then send your listing to Auction or Fixed Price with one click. When your item moves to Auction or Fixed Price, the store item will automatically be closed. If your new listing sells, great! If it does not sell, your original store item, with all of the original information including original store listing id number, will be re-activated.

3) Search for Closed and Sold Listings for the Last 30 Days

On the Advanced Search page (which you can access by clicking on Advanced Search above the StampWants header) you can now choose to search through items that have closed within the last 30 days, as well as items that have sold within the last 30 days.

4) Find a Listing by Item ID Number

When you search for an item by ID number in the search field, you will now automatically be brought to that listing without the need to first click on the listing in the search results.

5) New Newsletter Format

We have developed a new newsletter format (which you are reading right now) to better reflect our site design and to be read more easily. If you have any comments or suggestions please let us know.
