Scanning/Listings & Consignments Services
1) StampWants Scanning/Listings & Consignments ServicesStampWants.com is now offering two new services to help stamp collectors and dealers sell their items on StampWants.com – StampWants Scanning/Listing Services, and StampWants Consignment Services.
Through StampWants Scanning/Listing Services, we can now scan and list your items for you! If you would like us to scan, type up your description and list your item, the cost is 50 cents for camera-ready items, and 65 cents for non-camera ready items, with a 100 item, or $1,000.00 retail minimum. All standard insertion and end of auction fees still apply. Once we list your items, we’ll return them to you (you pay actual shipping costs), so that you can manage your listings and ship out purchases.
If you'd like us to scan, list, manage, sell and ship your items, we can now take your items on consignment – through StampWants Consignments. The 50/65 cent fees above apply, and you’ll only be responsible for one flat fee of 10% when your item sells. Higher valued items can even be included in StampWants exclusive Live Auctions!
All items must be accurately described and priced. Larger items, such as album pages, sheets and collections will incur higher listing fees. We can also describe and price collections for you, for $25 per hour of describing/pricing in addition to the above fees. 2) StampWants.com Live Auction # 2 – StampWants Consignments (September 1st)
Our 2nd Live Auction will be held Saturday, September 1st, and will feature items from StampWants Consignments. The best part is from now until Saturday (August 25th) we'll be accepting items on consignment to be placed in the Live Auction! We already have over 50 lots scheduled for auction, but there's plenty of room for your items! All items must retail for at least $50, and we'll need to know your starting/minimum bids for your items (unless you want us to price them for you). If you'd like to get in on the selling action, email us today (just reply to this newsletter), and we'll have someone contact you regarding your items. And for everyone else, we'll see you at the auction Saturday, September 1st. Good luck bidding!
3) Move Store Items to Auction/Fixed Price in Bulk
From the 'Items I'm Selling' page of the My StampWants area, sellers will now see a new option in the top "GoTo" area - "Move Store Items to Auction/Fixed Price in Bulk." This new feature will let you easily move your store items to either auction or fixed price listings in bulk. Enter specific auction ids, or specify groups of auction and with one click they will all be moved to auction listings or fixed price listings. This is similar to our existing 'Move to Auction/Fixed Price' feature, but will allow you to move items in bulk. And remember if your item doesn't sell, it will automatically move back to your store and keep it's original store id number and other information.
4) SWStamps - End of Summer Sale [ Visit This Seller's Store ]
SWStamps is having a super end of summer clearance sale. "20% off for all U.S. and Canada stamps plus 30% off all other counties". As an added bonus all orders over $150.00 will receive an additional 5% off and half off shipping.
