1) Phlat Stampley's Last Hurrah - Bidding Tops $200 - Ends Tonight (Friday July 24)!

Just over a month ago Phlat Stampley finished his worldwide journey, and with over 50,000 miles under his belt, he and the various philatelic items he collected were auctioned off for charity. Thanks to StampWants members across the entire globe - Phlat Stampley to date has helped raise $3,000 for the American Heart Association! With the Cleveland Heartwalk just a couple of weeks away, there's still time to help support this great cause with Phlat Stampley's Last Hurrah!

With bidding already over $200, this is truly an exciting event! 'Cartoonist and cachetmaker Dave Bennett created a special pictorial cancel for use in Cleveland back on Valentine's Day picturing Phlat Stampley walking in front of Cleveland's Terminal Tower landmark. The cancel didn't come out quite as clearly as hoped but it is offered here on a cover with a one-of-a-kind hand-drawn and hand-colored cachet by Dave. This is the only one that will ever be made! All proceeds from this auction will be donated to the American Heart Association under the Team Thelma banner.'
