Miss New Jersey to Present Giveaway of Rare $400,000 Stamp by StampWants.com at APS Ameristamp Expo

CHERRY HILL, NEW JERSEY – December 17, 2007 – Amy Polumbo, Miss New Jersey will be announcing the winner of the StampWants.com C3a Inverted Jenny Giveaway live at 2 p.m. on January 12, 2008 at the APS Ameristamp Expo in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The 1918 24˘ Inverted Jenny stamp is the most popular and desired philatelic error in the world. Since December of 2006, when StampWants.com first announced their unprecedented giveaway, the Catalog Value of the C3a has skyrocketed from $275,000 for a Mint Hinged copy to $400,000. On November 14, 2007 a single exceptionally centered C3a was sold by Robert A. Siegel Auction Galleries for $977,500.

The StampWants.com C3a Inverted Jenny Giveaway began on December 20, 2006 and ends on December 31, 2007 11:59:59 EST. To participate in the giveaway, entrants can visit www.StampWants.com and have the opportunity to enter once every day.

"Since the start of our giveaway we've seen our membership grow from 4,000 registered users to almost 20,000 registered users. The C3a was printed in 1918, when the center image of the Curtis JN-4 (Jenny) airplane was accidentally printed upside down.
